Carbon Peeling
Revolutionary skin beautifying technology!
Carbon Peeling – the process of reducing pores, anti-inflammation treatment and pigment treatment. During the Carbon Peeling treatment, we combine the effects of the laser beam and a special carbon cream. The new generation Q-switched ND:YAG laser helps the fine carbon powder enter your pores to allow your skin to regenerate.
During the treatment, the laser beams are absorbed, which cleans out your pores.
How does the treatment work?
During the treatment, the thin layer of carbon based nanotechnological cream completely disappears. The point of the treatment is the absorption of the laser beams. The carbon particles “explode” when they meet the laser beams, and they enter the pores, where their anti-inflammatory and sebaceous-gland-activity inhibition effects activate, preventing your skin from being oily or otherwise problematic. Its instantaneous effects include shrinking pores and smoothing and evening out your skin. After the treatment, your skin will start peeling slightly, which helps it rejuvenate.
Consistent use of Carbon Peeling for our guests with normal skin helps stimulate collagen, regeneration and ensures the skin’s flexibility. It reduces development of acne and scarring and helps regulate pigmentation and the development of a healthy epidermis.
According to some studies, following the first treatment, an improvement of 10-15% can be achieved. After 5 sessions, a 70% decline in acne and inflammation can be observed.
Before treatment:
Guests should avoid sunbathing and tanning beds (at home or in a solarium) for at least 2 weeks before the treatment. 1 week before the treatment, guests should also avoid the use of self-tanning creams. Avoid exfoliating and waxing of the affected area.
After treatment:
Avoid sunbathing, tanning and tanning beds for the next 3 months. Avoid saunas for the next 2 weeks. It is important to keep the skin clean after the treatment. You may use makeup in the days after the treatment, but make sure to clean the skin thoroughly, to avoid the clogging of the clean pores. Use of sunscreen is mandatory!
Side effects:
There are some rare and mild side effects when treating darker skin types; the treated skin might appear lighter in colour for a few weeks after the treatment. When treating sensitive skin types, slight red discoloration of the skin right after the treatment can happen, but this should typically disappear within a few hours after the treatment.
The treatment process:
The skin is cleaned before the treatment. After it is cleaned, the carbon cream is applied and after making sure all safety measures are adhered to, the treatment will begin.
The laser treatment may take up a maximum of 30-40 minutes. After the treatment a special serum and sunscreen is applied to the treated areas.
How many sessions are necessary?
The treatment is painless and fast. After 6 sessions – recommended once a week – every session will result in a more and more visibly improved skin quality. The treatment should be followed up with refresher and maintenance sessions, every 2-3 months. The first 3-4 sessions already help prevent the formation of acne and blackheads. Already existing inflammations are treated.
