The base component of all Hydrojelly peel-off masks is the hydrating and electrolyte-rich active ingredients. Besides the electrolytes, the mask contains ingredients specific to different skin types, so besides hydrating and treating skin problems, it also helps strengthen the natural protective layers of the skin. Electrolytes have an important role in achieving ample hydration and maintaining healthy balance in your body. Your body’s electrolyte equilibrium is what allows your skin to flourish and to maintain a youthful appearance. These minerals pair well with the ingredients of other skincare products, such as AHA/BHA acids or retinol. Not only that, but electrolytes can enhance the effectiveness of these components.


But what are electrolytes?
